The concept mc Signature is a low-output moving-coil cartridge built around a boron cantilever and a Micro Line diamond. Its body is an aluminium-magnesium alloy with a ceramic coating, and the whole system weighs 8.0 g, which makes it usable in a wide range of tonearms.
The Signature version is tuned for channel balance, with a deviation below 0.3 dB, and has a system impedance of 11 Ω and a tracking ability of 80 µm. Output is 0.4 mV at 5 cm/s, the coils are copper, and the recommended tracking force is 2.2 g (± 0.2 g). Frequency response is stated as 20 Hz to 20 kHz with channel separation above 30 dB.
It is fitted to a tonearm headshell in the usual way and needs a phono stage with moving-coil input. The standard concept mc line is offered in silver and black, and a 2-year manufacturer warranty applies when the warranty card is returned within 14 days of purchase.
