SUB2070.2

The SUB2070.2 is the larger of the Varro series subwoofers in the range shown here. It uses two 10-inch drive units mounted opposite one another in a sealed cabinet, in a push-push/pull-pull arrangement. The drivers' movements are set up to cancel the mechanical forces inside the enclosure, which is intended to cut cabinet vibration and distortion while raising efficiency.

Digital signal processing handles extension, output and control. Auto EQ and app-based control are provided so the sub can be set up to suit the listening room. It is described for use with both music and film material, from deep effects to bass drum transients.

A wireless receiver is built into the subwoofer. With the optional AirX2 wireless transmitter connected to an AV receiver, the subwoofer signal can be sent to the unit without a cable run. The subwoofer is offered in Gloss Black and Gloss White finishes.
