Oceans Abyss

Oceans Abyss combines two independently programmable stereo reverb engines with a flexible signal path of up to eight effects blocks. Ten reverb types are offered (Room, Hall, Spring, Plate, Reverse, Dynamic, Auto-Infinite, Shimmer, Polyphonic and Resonant), and each reverb can be panned in the stereo field. The remaining blocks can hold Delay (digital, analog and tape emulations), Tremolo, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Graphic EQ, Saturation, Bit Crusher, Volume or an external FX loop.

Parameters are edited on an OLED display with several views (Signal Path, Performance, Settings, Physical and Explorer), navigated with a NavCoder knob. Illuminated slide pots and buttons handle the main reverb controls. The footswitches work in momentary or latching mode, and holding the A or B footswitch triggers infinite sustain on the assigned reverb. Tails can be switched on or off, and 128 presets store all controls.

The pedal has stereo inputs and outputs, a stereo FX loop on TRS jacks, an expression/CV input for nearly any parameter, and a jack for up to three external footswitches. MIDI In and Out are provided, with MIDI In accepting PC, CC and Tempo Clock. A USB-C port connects to Windows or Mac for editing and preset management with the EHXport app. Power comes from the supplied 9.6VDC adapter.
