Pico Shimmer

The Pico Shimmer is a compact digital reverb that combines reverb, modulation, delay and synthesis. A Scene button switches between three signal chains: Intergalactic, a classic shimmer built from polyphonic octaves, reverb, modulated delay and compression with a string synthesis engine; Off-World, a smoother and mellower shimmer with stronger delay modulation and vintage synth textures; and Etherdust, a glitch effect with randomized delay time that ranges from short granular sparkles to distinct stuttering echoes.

Five controls shape the sound. Blend sets the mix from fully dry to fully wet, Tone sets brightness, and Time sets decay up to infinite at maximum. Voice sweeps from clean plate reverb at minimum, through classic shimmer at noon, to ethereal strings at maximum. Holding the Scene button reaches secondary knob functions for reverb mix, delay time, and modulation depth and rate. Holding the footswitch engages Infinite Reverb momentarily for pad-like effects.

The pedal is mono, with a single input and output jack and a footswitch with a status LED that shows the active Scene. It offers three buffered bypass modes (digital, analog and hybrid) and runs from a supplied power adapter.
