F701

The F701 is a two-way standmount speaker that uses a single 200mm IsoFlare point source driver. A 25mm magnesium dome compression tweeter sits at the centre of the multi-fibre bass/midrange cone, which has a FyneFlute surround and a neodymium magnet system. The crossover point is 1.7kHz.
The port fires downwards and has a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser built into it. The crossover is a bi-wired passive low-loss design with a second-order low pass and a first-order high pass, and it is Cryo-Lite treated. Cabinets are handcrafted in the UK with a piano gloss lacquer over veneer, in black, white or walnut.
The speaker is rated at 91dB sensitivity into 8 ohms and handles 90W RMS continuous, with 360W peak. Its recommended amplifier range is 30 to 180W RMS. Connection is through bi-wired terminals.
