The FA502iC LCR is a home-install loudspeaker for ceiling or wall mounting. Its 200mm (8") IsoFlare point-source driver is set at 15 degrees to the mounting surface and can be rotated within the round cut-out, so the output can be aimed at the main listening position. This suits left, centre and right channels in home theatre setups where the speaker is offset from the seating.
The driver combines a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone with a FyneFlute surround and a 25mm titanium dome compression tweeter. The passive crossover splits at 1.7kHz, using a 2nd order low pass and a 1st order high pass. Sensitivity is 91dB at 2.83V/1m into a nominal 8 ohms, with 75W RMS continuous handling and a 300W peak rating.
Installation follows the standard FA502iC approach, with a 255mm cut-out and 155mm of depth needed behind the mounting surface. A clamp mechanism with 0–26mm of travel secures it. A low-profile round grille is supplied and can be painted; a cut-out template and a shared FA300iC/FA500iC manual are offered for download.
