The CX 12 is a passive, bass-reflex two-way cabinet that covers the mid and high range. It pairs a 12-inch Beyma cone driver with a 1.4-inch B&C compression driver, both with neodymium magnets and 3-inch voice coils, split at 1.2 kHz with 24 dB/octave slopes. A BEM-optimised constant-directivity horn gives a 75° x 55° dispersion pattern that can be rotated, which helps with clustering. Rated power handling is 500 W RMS, with a peak SPL of 131 dB.
The cabinet is built from birch plywood with a PU coating in jet black and a steel front grille with anti-corrosion coating and acoustic foam backing. It has ten M10 rigging points, three integrated handles, a pole mount with the DuoTilt adapter (3°/7°) and monitor angles of 35° and 55°. Left and right versions are available for symmetrical monitor setups.
Connection is through two NL4 Speakon inputs and two NL4 Speakon parallel outputs, with switchable pin assignment. DSP presets are provided for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series, Lake and Powersoft Armonia+ amplifiers, plus filter sheets for Lab.Gruppen IPX and IPD.
