The iKeyboard 3X combines a 25-key velocity-sensitive keyboard with semi-weighted full-size keys and a single-channel DAW control surface. It has pitch bend and modulation wheels, Octave and Transpose buttons, and multiple selectable velocity curves for the keys and pads.
The control section has a backlit touch fader with LED feedback that follows the selected DAW channel, plus Rec-enable, Solo and Mute buttons, track and bank selection, and six illuminated transport buttons. A dual-function encoder (press and rotate) with an 11-segment LED ring handles panning, sends and plugin parameters. A 3-segment LED display and 18 assignable backlit buttons are also fitted.
It connects over USB 2.0 and is class-compliant on Windows, macOS and iOS. Presets use Mackie Control and HUI protocols for common DAWs, and the included iMap software allows custom mapping of any control. A MIDI output jack, expression and sustain pedal inputs, and a Kensington lock port are provided. A bundle of software is included.
