VOX Continental
A 61-key stage keyboard from the VOX brand with organ, electric piano, acoustic piano and key/layer sound parts, touch-sensor drawbars and a Nutube valve drive stage. It is aimed at gigging keyboardists and ships with a volume/expression pedal and a dedicated stand.

The Continental is built around four sound parts: ORGAN, E.PIANO, PIANO and KEY/LAYER. Each can be switched on, off or layered from the front panel. The organ section models three vintage designs (VOX transistor, COMPACT and CX-3 tonewheel), the electric piano section offers Tine, Reed and FM engines, and the piano section has Grand, Upright and E.Grand. Around 10 GB of memory holds 150 built-in programs.
LED touch bars act as organ drawbars, as sliders for parameters such as EG and filter on KEY/LAYER sounds, or as a nine-band master EQ. A bend lever controls rotary speed, tremolo or pitch bend. A Nutube vacuum-tube circuit provides valve drive with a dedicated switch and knob. The semi-weighted waterfall keyboard has a dynamics knob to adjust velocity response, and 16 scenes (4 banks of 4) can be recalled live, with sets saved to USB flash drive.
Outputs include balanced XLR jacks. The body is sheet metal and aluminum in scarlet, with an illuminated rear VOX logo. A V861 volume/expression pedal and an ST-Continental stand are supplied.
