Mode is a pair of wired in-ear headphones built around 9 mm dynamic drivers. The drivers cover 20-20,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 97 dB SPL and an impedance of 34 Ω. The housings are designed to anchor in the ear, and several ear-tip sizes are supplied so the fit can be adjusted.
An in-line microphone and remote sit on the cable, so the earphones can be used for phone calls as well as music playback. The cable is described as tangle-resistant and the connection as durable. The earphones are not water resistant and do not fold. Each earphone is finished in the Marshall style, in a single black colourway, and the pair weighs 17 g.
Connection is wired through a 3.5 mm plug. Spare ear-tips are not listed as a separate item and have to be requested from the maker's customer support. Mode is designed and engineered in Sweden and made in China.
