Descriere
The D-28 is a 14-fret Dreadnought flat-top built around a spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Golden Era scalloped spruce bracing in a forward-shifted X pattern shapes a voice with strong bass, clear trebles and rich overtones. The top has an Aging Toner colour and a gloss finish, and the body is dovetail-jointed to the neck.
The neck has a Golden Era Modified Low Oval profile with a high-performance taper and a satin finish. It has a 25.4" scale length, 20 frets and an ebony fingerboard with Style 28 mother of pearl inlays, plus a bone nut at 1 3/4" width. Fittings include an ebony Golden Era Modern Belly bridge, a compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins, a faux tortoise pickguard and nickel open gear tuners. The guitar has been fretted and dressed with Pleking.
The instrument is acoustic only, with no pickup or electronics fitted. It comes pre-strung with Phosphor Bronze Medium strings, is available in right- and left-handed versions, and is supplied with a form-fitted molded hardshell case. A limited lifetime warranty applies.
