The CI 8-120 DSP v2 packs eight amplifier channels and signal processing into a single rack unit. It uses NAD's HybridDigital platform with Hypex UcD output stages, and every channel is rated above 120 W into 8 ohms with all channels driven. Channels can be bridged in pairs, which raises output to over 200 W into 8 ohms and allows the amplifier to drive architectural subwoofers.
The built-in DSP is intended for tuning each project's speakers and rooms: level matching, tonal balance across zones, peak and RMS limiters for speaker protection, and crossovers for integrated subwoofers. Setup, zone configuration, I/O and DSP settings are all handled in a browser-based interface, whose dashboard shows live status and power settings.
For system integration the amplifier provides line-level inputs, automation support and a trigger input accepting 3–30 Vdc. Standby draw is 0.5 W, and the chassis measures 483 x 45 x 435 mm and ships at 10 kg.
