T 778
The T 778 is a 9-channel AV surround sound receiver with HybridDigital amplification and a modular MDC design that allows later upgrades. It suits home cinema and media-room setups, including custom-installed systems, and ships with Dirac Live room correction.

The T 778 is an AV receiver that combines surround processing with nine channels of HybridDigital amplification. It is rated at 140 W per channel into 8 ohms and 170 W into 4 ohms, and with all nine channels driven together it delivers 9 x 85 W. Dirac Live room correction measures the room and adjusts the output; a Limited Bandwidth licence (correction up to 500 Hz) and a calibration microphone are included.
The receiver is built on NAD's Modular Design Construction (MDC). Upgradeable modules let it take on new formats and features without replacing the whole unit. Video connectivity is via HDMI, and music streaming at high resolution is supported. Multiple subwoofer outputs allow flexible bass management.
For custom installation, the T 778 works with control systems including Control4, Crestron, Gira, Lutron, Nice, RTI and URC through driver packages. RS232 documents and a BluOS integration API are also available. Manuals are provided in eight languages.
