The P901 is a closed-back headphone with 40 mm drivers, a 16 Ω impedance and a 104 dB sensitivity. Its frequency response runs from 4 Hz to 90,000 Hz, which covers the range used by hi-res audio sources. It belongs to the maker's VINON line of higher-quality earphones and headphones.
For comfort, the ear pads are made of polyurethane. The cable is attached to one side only, which keeps cord clutter to a minimum. The driver housings swivel up to 90 degrees horizontally and 25 degrees vertically, so they can be adjusted to the head. The whole headphone weighs 284 g.
The cable is a braided nylon and cotton type designed to resist tangling, with an L-shaped plug. Two detachable-length options are supplied, 1.2 m and 2.4 m, together with a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter so the headphone can be used with portable players or with full-size audio gear.
