The Alien 300C is an RGBWW LED panel with a 2700K–12000K colour temperature range and ±150 green/magenta adjustment. It reaches 28630 lux at 1 m at 5600K and dims from 0 to 100% in 0.1% steps. Colour rendering figures include an average CRI of 96, an average TLCI of 97 and SSI values of 84 (3200K) and 74 (5600K). Colour modes include HSI, XY coordinates, RGBW, 151 gel presets and 15 effects that can be saved as presets.
The head weighs 6.6 kg and is 9.92 cm thick at its thickest point. It ships with a pop-up softbox already fitted, an eggcrate grid, two diffusers and a padded carrying case. The yoke rotates 360° with a stepless lock. The head is rated IP55 and a rain cover protects the control unit and attached V-Mount batteries. Metal barndoors are sold separately.
The panel runs from AC 100–240V, a 48V DC source or V-Mount batteries. A single battery gives reduced maximum output, and two batteries give full output. Control is by onboard controls and screen, the NANLINK app over Bluetooth, built-in CRMX LumenRadio, DMX/RDM, or 2.4G with an optional remote or transmitter box. A USB port is used for firmware updates and can power DMX receivers.
