2MR Bronze

The 2MR Bronze is a moving-magnet cartridge whose body is 3 mm lower than a standard housing. This lets it fit low-profile turntables without spacers or modifications, and it mounts with two screws in a half-inch pattern. The body is made of polymer and aluminum and the cartridge weighs 6 g.

The generator uses quad coils with split pole pins, wound with silver-plated OFC wire. A nude fine-line diamond stylus sits on an aluminium cantilever. Output is 5 mV, and the recommended tracking force is 1.5 g.

The cartridge accepts every stylus in the 2M family, from the 2M Red to the 2M Black LVB, so the stylus can be swapped later to change the sound. The recommended load capacitance is 150 to 300 pF. A user guide and a dimensions chart are available from the maker.
