Reamp Station
A studio tool that pairs an active direct box with a Reamp JCR-based reamper in one chassis. It lets engineers record a clean DI track and later send recorded tracks back through guitar amps and pedals.

The Reamp Station combines two functions. The DI section is derived from Radial's J48 active direct box and is powered by 48V phantom power from an interface or mixer, with an LED showing that power is present. A buffer switch engages a unity-gain Class-A buffer on the Thru output, so passive pickups are not loaded down when connected to an amplifier.
The reamper section uses the circuit of the Reamp JCR, designed by John Cuniberti. A custom-wound transformer made in the USA converts line-level signals from an audio interface to a level suited to pedals and amplifiers. A level control, a 3-position filter and a mute switch are provided; the mute is useful when adjusting microphone placement on a live amp.
Reamper inputs are XLR, balanced 1/4" TRS and a 3.5mm mini jack for phones and tablets. The unit can also record the output of effects pedals by returning it to the instrument input and out of the DI to the interface. Link In/Out connections allow several units to be daisy-chained, and the optional SA Series rack adaptor allows rack mounting.
