StageBug SB-15

The SB-15 is a fully discrete, class-A buffer placed at the front of a pedalboard. It corrects the load seen by the guitar and reduces susceptibility to noise when feeding several pedals and a distant amplifier, and its drag control adjusts load correction to keep the tone natural. It is rated to drive pedal chains up to 15 meters (50 ft).
A second function is power conversion. Many power bricks provide only 9V outputs, so the SB-15 takes two 9V outputs rated at 400mA each and converts the voltage and polarity to 15V. This gives an alternative way to run Radial and Tonebone products that need a 15V supply.
In a typical setup the unit sits between the instrument and the pedals, with the pedals and amp connected downstream of it. The maker lists it as discontinued and no longer shipping; a user guide and photos remain available for owners.
