Compact converter that turns a USB 3.0 UVC camera or mini-series device signal into HDMI 2.0 output or an NDI stream, and can also decode NDI to HDMI. Aimed at streaming, meetings and live production setups that need ordinary USB cameras as NDI sources.

The TAO 1tiny (Gen 2) is a smart converter that takes UVC-compatible video over USB 3.0 and outputs it as HDMI 2.0 or encodes it as an NDI stream over the network. It also works in the other direction, decoding incoming NDI signals to an HDMI 2.0 output so they can be shown on a monitor. Network streams in RTSP and RTMP can be decoded as well.
Compared with the first version, the second generation has a silver-gray metal body with improved cooling, and adds a Gigabit Ethernet port used for NDI encoding and decoding. Settings and signal switching are handled remotely through a built-in web interface. It is designed to work with RGBlink mini devices and with common UVC cameras, and supports 4K UVC camera conversion.
Power is supplied from a standard USB-C PD power supply, and power consumption is low. Firmware, a user manual, a specification sheet, a brochure and regional certification documents are published for the model.
