This compact mixer sits between a phone or tablet and the sound sources used for videos, livestreams, podcasts and music practice. It has a combo jack for XLR or 1/4-inch microphones with switchable 48 V phantom power, a dedicated guitar/bass input with a pad for active pickups, a mono/stereo instrument input, and two stereo line inputs on mini jacks. A Loop Back switch sends backing tracks from the mobile device into the mix so play-along performances can be captured.
The headphone jack accepts a headset mic, so a second voice can be added using earbuds with a mic or a headset. Separate knobs control the instrument, guitar/bass, mic, headset mic and headphone/smartphone output levels, and POWER and PEAK indicators show status.
It connects digitally over USB Micro-B, with included cables for USB-C and Lightning devices, or in analog through a four-pole TRRS cable. Power comes from the mobile device over USB or from four AAA batteries. It can also act as an audio interface for music apps such as Zenbeats or GarageBand, or run as a standalone mixer.
