The KC-200 is a 100-watt keyboard amplifier with a two-way speaker system: a 12-inch woofer and a tweeter in a twin bass-reflex cabinet. Compared with the KC-150 it has a redesigned power amp and power supply for higher output, better stability and fuller bass, along with an upgraded woofer. It is meant for 88-note stage pianos, organs, synthesizers, rhythm machines and other electronic instruments.
The onboard mixer offers four 1/4-inch line channels, an auxiliary input with 1/8-inch stereo and RCA jacks for phones or players, and a two-band EQ (low and high) with a master volume. Channel 1 also has an XLR input for a vocal mic. Channel 4 is a monitor channel for click or guide tracks that is heard through the amp's speakers and headphones but is not sent to the line output.
For connection, a 1/4-inch line output feeds PA systems, stage monitors or recorders, and a Sub Out jack drives a powered subwoofer, with its level following the master volume. Plugging in headphones mutes the internal speakers and Sub Out. The jacks are metal for durability.
