The set pairs a transmitter, which also serves as a charging dock, with a clip-on receiver. The user plugs in their own wired headphones, or the included earphones, and listens to TV sound wirelessly within a range of up to 30 m. The transmitter connects to the TV through a digital optical cable or a 3.5 mm analog cable, so it works with both digital and analog outputs.
Listening can be tailored with three hearing profiles aimed at clear speech or fuller music, plus separate left and right volume adjustment. A Speech Intelligibility function, activated by a button, dynamically reduces background noise in the TV audio so that dialogue is easier to follow.
The receiver has a built-in rechargeable battery that gives up to 12 hours of playing time and charges in about 3 hours when docked. Up to four receivers can be connected to one transmitter.
