Allen & Heath AR2412
The AR2412 is a 48kHz AudioRack stage expander with 24 mic preamps and 12 line outputs on XLR. It suits live and install users of Qu, Avantis and SQ mixers or AHM matrix processors who want remote I/O over a single Cat5 link.

The AR2412 is a rack-mounted remote I/O unit that adds 24 XLR mic/line inputs and 12 balanced XLR outputs to a compatible Allen & Heath system. The preamps offer up to +60dB of gain, with a -20dB pad for line-level sources, and the outputs are relay protected.
It links to the mixer or an upstream expander over one Cat5 cable and can sit up to 100m from the mixer. A second port allows daisy-chaining to another compatible expander, or connection to the ME Personal Mixing System so performers can build their own monitor mixes. A dedicated expander port also supports connection to an AR84 or AB168.
Setup needs no configuration: the unit is plugged into the mixer, which handles firmware updates automatically. It works with Qu, Avantis and SQ mixers and with the AHM audio matrix processors, and rack ears are included for mounting in a 3U 19-inch space.
