The MiCreator Satellite is a compact add-on microphone that links to the MiCreator Studio and serves as its dedicated second channel. It uses the same custom condenser capsule as the Studio, so both mics share the same sonic character. This makes it suitable for stereo recordings, interviews, duets and other dual-source setups.
The cardioid pattern concentrates on the sound source and reduces noise arriving from behind. A swivelable head and several mounting options allow it to be placed on a desk, on a stand or held in the hand. The housing is small and light enough to carry in a bag.
The Satellite connects to the Studio through a TRRS 3.5 mm link connection, and a separate 3.5 mm TRS output provides headphone monitoring in real time with zero latency. Related accessories include a 1.4 m link cable, a stereo minibar, a system case and DIY faceplates for customization. A System Set that bundles the Studio and Satellite is also offered.
