Bastl Instruments Quattro Figaro
Quattro Figaro is a 10 HP Eurorack module with four voltage-controlled amplifiers, each with its own CV inverter, plus mixed outputs. Its jack-switch routing between channel pairs makes it a tool for panning, crossfading and voltage-controlled mixing. It has been discontinued.

Quattro Figaro has four VCA channels, A to D. Each channel has a gain knob, a CV input with an attenuator knob, an inverted CV output, a signal input and a signal output. Gain follows the control voltage linearly. Control voltages above 6 V are compressed non-linearly, which comes from the VCA chip, and maximum gain is a little above 2.
Channels A and B, and C and D, are paired through jack switches. With nothing plugged into the signal input of channel B, the signal and the inverted CV from channel A feed channel B automatically, which gives a quick panning or crossfading setup. Plugging a cable into a jack breaks that connection, so every channel can also be used on its own.
Four mixed outputs allow use as a voltage-controlled mixer or stereo panning mixer: -(A+C), -(B+D), A+B+C+D and -(A+B+C+D). The module is 35 mm deep and runs from a 16-pin power connector with PTC fuse and diode protection. It is handmade in Brno, Czech Republic, with an aluminium or oak wood front panel, and a DIY kit (PCB and panel only) was also offered.
