BCR32

The BCR32 combines a bank of rotary encoders with a step sequencer in one USB/MIDI controller. It has 32 multi-purpose encoders and 20 programmable buttons, and every panel element can be assigned manually or through a learn mode. Eight of the encoders are dual-mode with a push function. Buttons can send note on/off, control change, program change, MMC commands or system-exclusive messages.

The built-in Zaquencer sequencer offers 32 steps across 4 tracks, with mono or polyphonic drum and note tracks. It stores 192 patterns, each made up of 4 tracks, and gives each track 2 independent MIDI controls for program change, aftertouch, pitch bend and CCs. A multi-function OLED display, multi-colour LED feedback and 4 virtual groups help keep larger setups readable.

Four CV/Gate and Sync connectors link the unit to modular systems and drum machines, and two assignable footswitch inputs are provided. It has one MIDI input and two MIDI outputs with a merge function, so it can act as a USB-to-MIDI interface or be cascaded with other control units. It is USB powered and class-compliant, and works with an Apple iPad through a Camera Adapter, which is sold separately.
