DCD-600NE

The DCD-600NE is a dedicated disc player without built-in speakers or amplification, so it needs a separate amplifier, receiver or powered speakers. It reads CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 and WMA discs. Denon's AL32 Processing handles the digital-to-analog conversion using data interpolation, up-sampling and bit-extension.

The circuit layout is built with shorter signal paths to reduce interference between circuits and between the left and right channels. A Pure Direct mode gives a cleaner output signal, and a mechanical ground construction is used to limit the effect of vibration and the surroundings on playback. The unit has a DAC master clock design.

Outputs are one pair of analog RCA connections and one optical digital output, so it works with any amplifier that has RCA line inputs or an optical input. It has no USB input and no Bluetooth. Auto power off is included, and standby draw is 0.3 W. The chassis is 434 mm wide and weighs 4 kg.
