NeoBuds S are Bluetooth 5.2 true wireless earbuds that pair a Knowles balanced armature driver with a 10mm dynamic driver, split by a digital crossover. They support Snapdragon Sound, aptX Adaptive and SBC, with Hi-Res audio at up to 24bit/96kHz on compatible Qualcomm Snapdragon devices. Active noise cancellation reaches up to -42dB, and an ambient sound mode lets outside sound through.
For calls, the earbuds use dual-microphone ENC and aptX Voice. A gaming mode brings latency down to 89ms. Three EQ presets (Dynamic, Pure and Audiophile) are selectable in the Edifier Connect App, and the Audiophile preset can be adjusted further. The same app sets the colour of the case's 7-colour LED indicator.
The earbuds last 6 hours with ANC off, or 5.5 hours with it on. The charging case extends total playback to 25 hours with ANC off. Both earbuds and case charge over USB-C, and 10 minutes of fast charging gives 1.5 hours of playback. IP54 certification covers dust and water resistance.
