The S760D is a 5.1 surround speaker system made up of a 10-inch subwoofer, a centre speaker and four satellite speakers. It has built-in Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS decoders. Total rated output is 540 W RMS, split between 60 W for each of the five satellite and centre channels and 240 W for the subwoofer.
The subwoofer uses a 10-inch driver with twin bass radiators. The two-way satellites combine 3.5-inch mid-range drivers with 1-inch silk-dome tweeters and calibrated crossovers. A power booster function raises overall system volume for larger rooms.
Inputs cover three optical, one coaxial, analogue 5.1 and dual stereo connections, so a TV, console, disc player or music source can be attached directly. Control is through a multi-functional controller and a wireless remote. The maker lists a user manual and an EU Declaration of Conformity for the product.
