The F7-12TM Sub is a subwoofer built around a single 300mm bass driver with a multi-fibre cone, housed in a heavily braced, rigid cabinet. It is intended to add low-frequency weight to a home cinema setup and is designed to work with the F700TM Series monitors.
It is a passive design with forward-firing ports, so it needs an external amplifier; 250–500 W RMS is the recommended range. Continuous power handling is 500 W RMS and peak handling is 1000 W. In-room response is quoted as 25 Hz to 250 Hz (-6 dB), with sensitivity of 96 dB at 2.83 V / 1 m and maximum SPL of 122 dB average and 126 dB peak.
The cabinet has a low-sheen finish and flexible installation options, which suits custom installs. It is offered in Black or Clear colour options and measures 560 x 430 x 260 mm, weighing 17.5 kg.
