The VR2-21214 is a two-way passive loudspeaker for fixed installations. It pairs two 12-inch neodymium bass/midrange cones with a 1.4-inch B&C compression driver on a rotatable horn. A passive crossover with 24 dB/oct. slopes splits the bands, and the cabinet is a bass reflex design made of birch plywood. Its program power handling is 1,400 W, and the EN 54 nominal noise power is 700 W.
The speaker is built for spaces where voice alarm and music playback come from the same source. It is certified to EN 54-24 (type B, outdoor use) and to DIN 18032-3 for ball impact resistance. Protection class is IP 33 C as standard, with an optional IP 55 version that has a PG gland and a 3 m fixed cable. Three horn options (60° x 40°, 90° x 55° and an asymmetrical 60-90° x 55°) let the coverage be matched to the room, and each can be rotated by 90°.
Connection is by screw terminals with a contact protection cover, with a parallel output for daisy-chaining. Filter presets are offered for Lab.gruppen, Lake, Powersoft and QSC Q-SYS amplifiers and DSPs. The cabinet has M10 rigging points, and a range of mounting accessories is available.
