The MG10 Combo is a small solid-state guitar combo from Marshall's MG Gold range, rated at 10 W. It has two channels, clean and overdrive, selected with a channel switch. The clean channel has its own volume control, while the overdrive channel has separate gain and volume controls.
A single contour control adjusts the balance of highs and lows relative to the mids, so the tone can be made sharper or warmer. The amp uses a custom 6.5" speaker (8 Ω, 10 W). A headphone output with emulated speaker sound allows quiet practice or direct recording at home.
The instrument connects through a 1/4" input jack. A 3.5 mm aux input lets a player connect an MP3 player or other line source to play along with tracks. The headphone output is also a 3.5 mm jack. The cabinet weighs 4.8 kg and is designed to be carried easily between rooms and rehearsals. It is finished in black and gold and comes with a power cable.
