The Q6 is a 600Ws battery-powered portable studio strobe with a 30W bi-color LED modeling lamp, TTL and HSS support, and a built-in 2.4G wireless receiver. It is aimed at location and outdoor portrait, event and commercial photographers who work with multiple off-camera lights.

The Q6 is a 600Ws monolight with a rounded square body and a foldable handle. Output ranges from 1/1 to 1/512 in 0.1 stop steps, with colour temperature held at 5700K ±100K. Flash duration runs from 1/188s to 1/7633s, and recycling takes about 0.01–0.9s. A quartz flash tube is rated for around 300,000 flashes.
It works in TTL, M and Multi modes and supports Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL, Sony TTL and Fujifilm TTL systems. Other functions include 1/8000s high-speed sync, front and rear curtain sync, flash exposure compensation of ±3EV, an S1/S2 optical slave and a delay flash of 0.01–30s. The 30W LED modeling lamp is adjustable from 2700K to 6500K at CRI 95+. Two colour TFT screens show status with colour-coded groups.
Wireless control uses the NEEWER 2.4G Q system with QZ series triggers: 5 groups, 32 channels and 99 IDs over a range of up to 100m. An RX COMPAT mode works with Godox 2.4G X system transmitters, although the two systems cannot run at the same time. Bluetooth app control covers settings, groups and firmware. Power comes from a 28.8V/2900mAh lithium battery rated for up to 400 full-power flashes, or from an AC dummy battery.
