The Z2II is a round-head speedlight that works in E-TTL or manual mode, with a TCM key for switching between them. Flash power runs from 1/1 to 1/256 in manual, with 1/8000s high-speed sync, front and rear curtain sync, flash exposure compensation and bracketing, stroboscopic flashes and S1/S2 optical slave modes. The head covers 28-105mm with automatic or manual zoom, swivels 330° and tilts from -7° to 120°. Two 2W 3300K LED modeling lamps offer 10 brightness levels, and a dome diffuser is included.
The built-in 2.4G radio controls four groups (A/B/C/D) across 32 channels and 99 IDs, and the unit can act as a master or slave for Q system flashes at up to 100m. It can also be used with Godox 2.4G X system gear through a compatibility menu. Transmitters are sold separately.
A 7.2V/3000mAh lithium battery gives about 600 full-power flashes with a 1.5s recycle time, and charges over USB in roughly 2.5 hours. Firmware can be updated through the USB Type-C port. It is offered in Canon, Nikon and Sony versions.
