The twenty5.Ci is a centre speaker from PMC's twenty5i home audio range. It pairs two 5.5-inch (140mm) long-throw g-weave bass drivers on cast alloy chassis with a 19mm PMC/SEAS twenty5i soft-dome treble unit made from Sonomex fabric. The bass is loaded by PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) design, with an effective line length of 1.8m.
The maker describes the dispersion as wide and even, so the speaker can sit above or below the screen without losing dialogue clarity. Frequency response runs from 45Hz to 25kHz, sensitivity is 90dB (1W, 1m), impedance is 6 ohms and the recommended amplifier power is 25 to 200W. The crossover frequency is 1.7kHz.
Connection is by one pair of 4mm binding posts. The cabinet measures 174mm high, 554mm wide and 314mm deep including binding posts, and weighs 11kg. A 20 year warranty applies when the product is registered within 10 days of purchase, subject to terms. The page also lists a brochure, owner's manual and drawing for download.
