The Plexitube is a two-channel distortion pedal that uses a 12AX7 tube to produce the warmth and harmonic content of a Plexi-style amplifier at high gain, with low noise. Post-distortion EQ controls let the player shape the tone after the gain stage.
Channel 2 includes an insert loop, so other effects pedals can be placed within that channel's signal path. The pedal uses true-bypass switching, which keeps the guitar signal unchanged when the effect is switched off.
The product has been discontinued and is no longer shipping. The maker keeps a user guide, a smart sheet and photos available for current owners. The part number is R800 7025 00.
