SGI 15v
The SGI 15v is a discontinued guitar interface system that converts an unbalanced instrument signal to a balanced line so it can travel up to 100 m (300 ft) without noise. It suits guitarists and bassists on large stages, in studios or with remote amplifiers.

The SGI 15v is a two-part line driver system, made up of a transmitter (SGI-TX) that sits by the instrument and a receiver (SGI-RX) at the far end. It takes the high-impedance, unbalanced signal from a guitar or bass and sends it over a balanced cable, avoiding the loss and noise that long instrument cables can pick up. The circuit is fully discrete class-A and includes a Drag control.
Typical uses include recording, where a player can sit in the control room and hear the monitors while playing, and large stages where long cable runs or lighting noise affect the signal. It can also feed isolation cabinets, under-stage amps or remote rooms, and a second unit can send a pedalboard signal back to the amp in complex routing setups.
