The F-120 is a cabinet-style digital piano built around a modelled piano sound engine that reproduces how a grand piano's tone changes with touch, note decay and key range. The keyboard has 88 keys with escapement and a progressive hammer action. Polyphony is 128 voices, with 30 tones and always-on string, damper and key-off resonance for piano sounds.
For practice and teaching it has a metronome, a one-track recorder with internal song memory, and a Twin Piano mode that splits the keys into two sections covering the same octaves. The left and right pedals can be reassigned as dampers for each half. A three-pedal unit with continuous detection on damper and soft, a 3-digit LED display, a panel lock and 189 internal songs are included.
Sound comes from two built-in speakers, the output jacks or two headphone jacks. A stereo mini input accepts an audio player for play-along. MIDI In and Out connectors are provided. The cabinet is available in Satin Black or White, and the lid doubles as a music rest when raised.
