WiTalk Base
Wireless intercom base station that acts as the central hub of the WiTalk system, supporting up to 16 full-duplex headsets per base and up to 64 users with four linked bases. Aimed at film, stage, event and broadcast crews that need grouped communication and links to existing 4-wire intercoms.

WiTalk Base is a 1.9 GHz DECT base station for the WiTalk9 and WiTalk9 X headset families. One unit handles 16 full-duplex headsets, and up to four bases can be cascaded over Ethernet to reach 64 users. Fiber media converters can extend the link to about one kilometre. Headsets roam automatically to the strongest base as crew move between coverage zones.
Users are organised into up to 8 role-based groups. Each user hears two groups at once and chooses which one to speak into, and a leader channel keeps key roles connected across groups. Three presets (Film, Stage, Event) or custom groups with editable names and colour tags can be set up. Headset-to-base range is quoted at up to 700 m, typically 600–700 m depending on site and RF interference.
On the bottom panel are LAN ports for cascading, USB-C for connecting to a computer for Zoom or Teams calls, 3.5 mm I/O that can add a 17th wired headset, and a 4-wire analog interface for systems such as Clear-Com, Riedel, RTS, Datavideo and LaON. A 5-inch colour display shows groups, battery and signal, and configuration is available through web, mobile app and PC. The chassis is magnesium alloy with IP66 rating.
