Life A1 is a pair of true wireless earbuds built around 8mm drivers with triple-layer composite diaphragms. Three sound modes can be switched from the earbuds: Signature for balanced everyday listening, Bass Booster for heavier low end, and Podcast to bring voices forward in spoken-word content. The earbuds have no transparency mode and do not work with the soundcore app.
Battery life is 9 hours per charge, with three further charges from the case for a combined 35 hours. A 10-minute top-up gives about 1.5 hours of playback. The case charges via the supplied USB-C cable (up to 2 hours) or on a wireless charging pad (3-4 hours). The earbuds are rated IPX7, but the case is not waterproof and the earbuds are not intended for swimming, showering or saunas.
They connect over Bluetooth 5.0 and reconnect automatically to the last paired device. A single earbud can be used on its own in mono mode. Controls are on the earbuds' built-in buttons for play/pause, volume, sound mode and voice assistant. Two microphones handle calls, and multiple EarTips and AirWings sizes are included for fit.
