Descriere
This is a double-bound Telecaster-shaped guitar modelled on late-1950s and 1960s Tele and Esquire styling. The poplar body has a gloss polyurethane finish and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. The maple "C"-shape neck carries a tinted gloss urethane finish, an Indian laurel fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, a bone nut and 21 narrow tall frets.
Electronics are a Fender Designed alnico single-coil at the bridge and a Fender Designed alnico humbucker at the neck, selected with a 3-position blade switch. Controls are one master volume and one master tone. Pickups can be used alone or together.
The Bigsby B50 tailpiece uses a string-through design for simpler string changes and is paired with a vintage-style floating bridge with Mustang saddles. Hardware is nickel-plated, with vintage-style tuning machines and knurled flat-top knobs. The guitar is a passive instrument with no onboard power requirement, and connects through a standard cable to an amplifier or pedals. It ships strung with nickel-plated steel .009-.042 strings.
